Cuba Cellular
Coverage T-Mobile serves the US Naval Station Guantanamo Bay in Cuba. They have built 11 LTE cell sites on the base, providing access to Talk, Text, and Data, where they previously only had Voice. Using wireless at Guantanamo Bay is like using wireless in the US. While the sites are operated by T-Mobile, other US carriers, most notably AT&T, will roam on the Guantanamo Bay T-Mobile sites as they would in other areas of the US. Everyone on the base, including US service personnnel, their families, and US roamers have access to T-Mobile’s full slate of prepaid and postpaid plans. There’s also a Wireless Advocates retail kiosk inside the base’s Navy Exchange Store where T-Mobile customers can purchase devices and accessories. |
